Lush, guest-ready tropical gardens — trimmed, watered and cared for weekly by our in-house Phuket garden team

Phuket Garden Care

Tropical Gardens Grow Daily — So Does Our Attention

A Phuket garden never stops growing — and never stops being photographed. Our garden maintenance in Phuket keeps lawns, palms, hedges and pool surrounds lush and guest-ready with scheduled weekly care — part of the property management Phuket service owners trust island-wide.

From compact condo terraces to estate gardens — the same team, on our payroll, on a fixed schedule.

Owner Pain Points

An Unmanaged Phuket Garden Becomes Jungle in a Month

Tropical growth is relentless — what looks charming after two missed visits looks abandoned after four, and guests judge the whole property by the first ten metres.

Growth Never Pauses

Grass, palms and hedges grow year-round in Phuket’s climate — skip a month and the garden swallows paths, views and your listing photos.

Water & Irrigation Balance

Dry-season scorch and monsoon waterlogging both kill gardens — irrigation needs constant seasonal adjustment that absent owners simply cannot do.

Snakes, Pests & Safety

Overgrown gardens invite snakes, rats and mosquito breeding — a safety issue for guests and a liability issue for owners.

How Garden Care Protects Your Bookings

Guests judge the whole property by the first ten metres. Here’s how we keep your garden working for your listing, all year.

A Fixed Weekly Route

The same gardeners on a permanent weekly schedule. They know what was planted, what struggles and what thrives.

Seasonal Irrigation

Watering adjusted through the year, so dry-season beds don’t scorch and monsoon roots don’t drown.

Palms Safe Overhead

Palm trimming, coconut removal and tree checks: beautiful from the ground and safe for guests below.

Pests & Snakes Kept Away

Preventive treatment for termites, mosquitoes and garden pests, carried out safely around guests and pets.

Fast Storm Clean-Ups

Fallen palms, branches and debris cleared quickly, so the garden is back to normal before guests notice.

Photo-Ready Outdoor Spaces

Terraces, furniture, paths and lighting arranged, so the whole outdoor scene looks like the listing photos.

In-House Garden Team

Gardeners on Our Payroll Who Know Your Garden by Name

Tropical gardens need continuity — a rotating cast of contractors produces a garden that looks like it was cut by a rotating cast of contractors.

Same Gardeners, Fixed Schedule

Your garden is on a permanent weekly route with the same team — they know what was planted, what struggles and what thrives.

Included With Management

Light gardening is included in our management rate, and larger landscaping projects are quoted transparently at supplier cost.

Our Commission

Gardening Included. Landscaping at Cost.

Light gardening is part of our all-inclusive management rate, not a separate contract. A compact condo terrace and a sprawling estate garden need very different amounts of work, so your commission is set around your property rather than a flat rate.

Weekly upkeep, trimming, irrigation checks and storm clean-ups are folded into the service you already have with us. We don’t invoice for them separately.

No hidden extras. Larger landscaping projects are quoted up front at supplier cost, so you decide before any work starts. Standalone garden care is also available; ask us for current rates.

Garden Care Included

Weekly upkeep is part of full management, not a separate bill.

Priced for Your Garden

Cost reflects the size and needs of your property, not a flat rate.

Landscaping at Supplier Cost

Bigger projects quoted transparently at cost, approved by you before work begins.

Our Own Payroll Gardeners

The same team on your garden every week, never a rotating cast of contractors.

Every Visit Logged

Photos from each visit appear in your owner reporting, wherever you are.

We Earn When You Earn

Our commission comes from your rental income, so our results are tied directly to yours.

Garden Care in Phuket — Your Questions Answered

How often does a Phuket garden need maintenance?

Weekly for most properties — tropical growth is constant, and gardens with lawns, palms and pool surrounds deteriorate visibly after two missed visits.

Yes — a one-time recovery cut brings overgrown gardens back under control, then a weekly schedule keeps it that way. We’ll quote the recovery honestly before starting.

Yes — preventive garden pest control is part of the service, and keeping growth trimmed is the best snake deterrent there is. Urgent removals are coordinated same-day.

Garden maintenance in Phuket comes included in our all-inclusive management rate for light upkeep; larger landscaping is quoted at supplier cost. Call us for our best current rates.

It comes down to the size of the property, and it is fully inclusive. We do not charge you for it separately.

Rather than a flat rate that either overcharges a small courtyard or undercharges a sprawling garden, cost simply reflects what your specific property actually needs, folded into the service you already have with us.

Unlike cooler climates where growth slows over winter, Phuket stays warm and humid year round, which keeps vegetation growing actively rather than pausing.

Left unattended, a garden here can lose its shape within a couple of weeks. Overgrowth also creates real knock-on problems: blocked drains during heavy rain, pathways for termites and pests along walls, and top-heavy palms that are more vulnerable in monsoon winds.

This is exactly why ongoing, scheduled care matters so much more here than occasional attention would in a temperate garden.

Everything is included as standard with Pearl Property. There is no separate add-on list to navigate.

That covers the full range of what keeps a garden looking after itself: lawn mowing and edge trimming, hedge and shrub pruning, clearing fallen leaves and debris, and weeding beds and pathways.

You get a properly maintained garden as part of the service, not a base package with extras bolted on afterwards.

There is no need. All of our gardeners are already professionals.

Phuket’s heat and humidity make manual upkeep genuinely demanding, and growth is fast enough that even a short gap can turn a tidy garden into overgrowth. Having a trained team already in place removes that pressure from you entirely.

If you can afford it, an automated system is generally the better option.

Consistent watering matters most in the dry season, from December through April, and a good system paired with rain sensors will also skip a cycle automatically after heavy rain rather than watering on a rigid schedule regardless of conditions.

It is still worth having the system checked periodically, since Phuket’s mineral-heavy water can clog sprinkler heads over time, and our regular visits are a natural point to catch that.

The general principle is to avoid traditional lawns and delicate imported flowers, and lean into species that are naturally suited to Phuket’s heat, humidity and monsoon swings.

A few reliable options:

  • Frangipani and single-trunk palms such as foxtail or Manila palm, which need minimal water once established
  • Bougainvillea and ixora, both hardy hedge options that tolerate heavy pruning and intense sun
  • Gravel or pebble ground cover paired with succulents like agave, which cuts down on mowing and improves drainage

Sun exposure and soil type will always shape what works best for your specific garden, so it is worth having that assessed properly rather than guessing.

In Phuket, reliable gardeners tend to come through referrals and established networks rather than public adverts or freelance platforms.

With Pearl Property, this is not something you need to source yourself at all. Garden care is handled directly as part of our broader management service, keeping oversight and accountability with one provider rather than an independent contractor you would need to vet on your own.
